Please notify me when mixed fleet are recruiting next for cabin crew

  2. Hi there how do you go about getting. An application form

    • Just click the ‘Read more and apply here’ link and you will get redirected to BA’s application form. Good luck!

  3. Can you please advise me if British Airways would accept
A application from myself with my height being 6ft2.. Is the no flexibility within this? I have flown
For 3 years and my height never caused any issues for my job role.

    Many thanks.

    • BA have only just recently put an upper height limit (6’1′) on their recruitment so unfortunately this would exclude you. However, it is always worth giving their HR team a call to see whether your flying experience would change their requirements.

    • Just bend your kness slightly when you get measured, I did and I’m 6.2. I said on my application I was 6.1

    Thanks Caroline

    • Hi Caroline, we are not aware of any at the moment but as soon as any BA recruitment is announced we will post it on our website and Facebook page. Thanks, Chris

  5. Hello. I am very nervous of this job application because I am not british.
I am korean but I don’t have EEA passport. So I am so worried if I even could pass this first step.
And there were korean speaker recruiting 1 and half years ago but no more TT
I really wanna get this job, its a little bit difficult to get an information as a foreiner.
    Can I ask your help?

    • Hi, I am afraid that for BA (and most UK based airlines) you need to have the ‘unrestricted right to live and work in the UK’. If you do not have this you will not be able to apply for the position. Sorry we could not be more help, Chris

      • thanks for replying.
I have a right to work and live in the UK as I have a spouse visa.
so I asked to BA about it .. .they seem like they don’t check the e mail..TT
anyway thank you very much 🙂

        • The only other restriction would be are you a ‘Holder of a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel’ and you are ‘eligible to obtain a USA visa’? If you are OK with both of these then I would apply. Chris

          • Great!
Both are okay with me, thanks very much
and also, your kind reply help me a lot to have confidence.
            Thank you so much,Chris!

    • Hi, I’d like to apply for BA as well, but just like you I’m not a British citizen , I’m from the Maldives and I’m Currently working as a flight attendant here . Is there anyway I could find more information about flight attendant jobs for foreigners in BA ?

As long as you have the right to live and work in the UK, plus a passport with unrestricted travel you can apply to BA.

        • Thank you for the response . But what I don’t understand is “have the right to live and work in the UK, plus a passport with unrestricted travel”- I hold a maldivian passport. I checked on the visa page too , it mentioned the same but I don’t understand it, would you be kind enough to explain this to me ?
          Thanx

          • Customer Support

Basically BA need to know that for you apply you can legally work in the UK (i.e do you have the right visa) and travel anywhere in the world as Cabin Crew. Not all passports allow you to do this so it is best to check before you apply.

  6. Hello,
I would like to know if there are any positions available at Manchester airport? Or what time of year roughly they usually recruit for this airport? I am due to leave the RAF next year and would like to move up to Manchester, I’m just trying to plan for my exit correctly. Also is there any preferred language for a 2nd language? I have the option to learn numerous before I leave and cannot make up my mind which one.
    Kind regards
    Caz

    • Hi Caz, unfortunately there is no way of telling which airline will be recruiting until they announce it online. Regarding a 2nd language, any extra language you can speak is a bonus but as to which once would again really depend on which airline you want to work for (e.g. if you wanted to work for one of the Middle Eastern Airlines then it would great to know Arabic). Regards, Chris

  7. Please can you tell me when BA are recruiting again at Gatwick. Many thanks.

    • As soon as we find out that BA are recruiting we will post it on out site and on our Facebook page Jackie.

      • Thank you x

        • BA won’t ever recruit for LGW. They only ever open this up for crew who are already employed. They will only recruit for there mixed fleet or ICC (international cabin crew) and even this is rare.

          • Hi Daniel,

BA do recruit at LGW, as they did just a couple of months ago. However it is not as often as Mixed Fleet and the reason for this is Mixed Fleet have a higher demand for crewing levels because it is a much bigger and there are many more routes. Regards, Chris

  8. Hi, my friend applied for Mixed Fleet April of this year and didn’t make it past the application stage and would have to wait 12months to apply again. she applied again for this recruitment drive using a different email and im worried she will get caught out and rejected again.

    • Hi Danielle, as you said I think it is a possibility that BA will find out as they will have a record of who has applied even though a different email address was used. Overall we would not recommend anyone does this in case the airline you apply to bans you from applying again. Regards, Chris

  9. Hello I am Portuguese but speak the English language perfectly. BA recruit candidates from other countries?
    Many thanks.

  10. Hi, I want to know if we can apply to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick or just one application. Thank you!

  11. Hello,

I used to live in UK, working for an airline that was flying only through Europe. Now I’m cabin crew for another European airline, which flies also only in Europe. I’m originally from Poland. I’m wondering if I can apply for the position of cabin crew in BA with polish passport? I imagine that the company is providing Visas to the countries that they are flying to, right?

    • Hi Magdalena, BA state that you need to have a valid passport (with minimum of 12 months before expiry date) and allowing unrestricted worldwide travel. Plus you will need to have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK. If you have this then you can apply. Chris

  12. I am about to leave college and i want to apply for a BA cabin crew apprenticeship this year 2015, when they they recruiting again?
    Thankyou

  13. Hi, I have always wanted to get into cabin crew but I haven’t managed it. I have been to various interviews with different airlines, attended courses. I just love to fly, so could you tell me is there an age restriction with the airlines.
    Thanking you

    • Customer Support

No there is no upper age restriction to Cabin Crew, although you will need to be physically fit to do the job.
